During my first day exploration of Antwerp, my friends and I went into a souvenir shop to buy some postcards. The man in charge of the store was ringing us up, and asked us where we were from. We told him America, and then he asked us what states. He knew all of the states because many years ago, he had traveled through America on his motorcycle. He had been to more states that we had!
He then told us about all different famous celebrities that had been to his shop. He showed us a picture of him and Frank Sinatra. He also had David Hasselhoff in his store. He told us a story of how Lady Gaga played a concert at the plaza outside his shop. Her “people” thought that he was very interesting , so they invited him to her after concert party at 1am. He told them that that was too late for him,. He still doesn’t know who Lady Gaga is after that!
